Well for anyone interested, Floody is slightly bigger than he should be, kinda messed up on the scale. The body is a plastic pumpkin, back half is a wicker cornucopia covered in silicon. The front feelers are fake flowers with Christmas ornaments and the legs are long party balloons over pipe cleaners. The little feely things on the bottom were made of a scrubbing brush cut open and dyed red. Lastly(I think), the texture and body mass is just expanding foam you buy at Lowes for insulation. It's really sticky and a pain to work with, but the results can be pretty sweet. Painted using acrylic spray paints, nothing special.

I based it mainly on the concepts from Halo and Halo 2. In part 3 they looked much more bug-like. I did keep the gill/feeler things from part 3 though. Now go make your own and send me a pic:)

That's a tough question. For the amount of work and materials I put into it, I'd have to ask for a lot, not to mention it's one-of-a-kind. But on the other hand, I just got married and bought a house so extra cash would help out a lot. But on the other other hand, it sure does look sweet as a hunting trophy hanging up on my wall! Floody stays with me! But thanks for the compliment, I'm glad you like it so much:)

We'll be in ours for 10 years this coming August. It's a heck of a thing, feels like we moved in yest. I thank my lucky stars daily to be out of apartments and paying RENT!! As for my hubby... it feels like it'll be 15 years in September. ;)

You're very welcome, and forgive me. I just love things that are creepy and scary. I'm a horror fanatic.

Seal your lips with the black stitch of a secret
Parade with that speechless dryness of the desert air
Lay flat under the lime light you feed off all the fiction
Cold callus and boiled between the bleak deep of your dirty hands
